SIGNAGE ESTIMATOR

CENTRAL MIDLANDS (Hybrid working available)

Up to 40K depending on experience + Hybrid working (2 days from home post-probation) + 22 days holiday + bank holidays + Company pension scheme + Healthcare + Laptop provided

Working hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Our client is a well-established, family-run signage and graphics business with over 25 years of industry experience, delivering nationwide solutions across design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance. They work with a wide range of sectors including retail, logistics, construction, and commercial clients, offering a full turnkey service from concept to completion.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Signage Estimator to join their team.

As a Signage Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and delivering high-quality signage solutions across a wide range of projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams and occasionally liaise with clients to ensure accurate, competitive, and commercially viable quotations. This can be a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week following successful completion of probation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of signage products including: Totems, Built-up letters, Pan signs, Fascias etc.
  • Interpreting technical drawings, specifications and client briefs
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive material and production costs
  • Supporting Account Management and Project Management teams with pricing and technical input
  • Assisting with value engineering to ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Providing a level of client-facing support, including handling queries and clarifications
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estimating within the signage industry
  • Strong knowledge of signage manufacturing processes, including: Welding & fabrication, Metalwork, LED / illuminated signage
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both internal and client-facing
  • Proficient in estimating systems and Microsoft Office
