Primary Class Teacher – Lewisham
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Position: Primary Class Teacher
Start Date: February 2026
Pay: 3,500 – 4,500 per month

Veritas Education is delighted to be working alongside a friendly, community-focused primary school in Lewisham, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Class Teacher to join their team from February 2026.

This OFSTED-rated ‘Good’ school is well regarded for its inclusive ethos, creative curriculum, and strong commitment to nurturing every child’s academic progress and personal development. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a primary class, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

This role is ideal for a reflective and motivated teacher who enjoys creating stimulating learning experiences, building positive relationships with pupils and families, and contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

The Ideal Primary Class Teacher Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Experience teaching within a primary school setting (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)

• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

• Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress to inform effective teaching and learning
