Are you UK and European Patent Attorney with an understanding of engineering who is looking to join one of Europe’s largest dedicated intellectual property law firms where you will be recognized as a technical expert at what you do?

In this role you will be drafting specifications and responding to office actions for complex inventions, alongside working with clients to secure appropriate IP protection and assisting with Oral Proceedings at the European Patent Office. Alongside this, you will be analysing prior art and working together with clients to develop persuasive and creative arguments against patent office objections.

This role will suit someone who is dual qualified as a Patent Attorney with knowledge of mechanical engineering or similar looking to grow and improve their skillset, within a global ambitions company who will take care of them

The Role:

• Drafting specifications and responding to office actions for complex inventions
• Advising clients on securing appropriate IP protection
• Assisting with Oral Proceedings at the European Patent Office
• Analysing prior art and working with clients to develop arguments against objections
• Researching and advising on the status, scope and validity of third party intellectual property rights

The Person:

• Dual Qualified Patent Attorney ( EU and UK )
• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or similar
