Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Lead UX/UI Designer to join our global client on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have prior experience working within the Commodities, Financial Services or a similar sector.

The Lead UX/UI Designer will be responsible for leading the user experience work across our clients world-class platform and associated products and services. You will be responsible for designing the user experiences to optimise the customer experience across web, desktop, excel and mobile products, surfacing commodities prices, news, exchange data and analytics in compelling and intuitive ways to users.

Skills will include:

• Substantial and demonstrable experience with end-to-end (UX and UI) product/visual design
• Experience in concept ideation and design strategy
• Ability to integrate feedback from other designers, developers, and stakeholders and generate multiple design explorations
• Proven history in strategic product thinking and vision
• A strong digital portfolio with examples of mobile or desktop apps that demonstrate conceptual problem-solving
• Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills
• Proficiency in commonly used design applications (ie Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, etc)
• Fundamental HTML/CSS skills
• Experience working in commodities, financial services, or similar sectors
• Experience with data-driven dashboards and data visualisation
• Experience working with desktop, web and mobile applications
