Senior Network Engineer – BGP, Multicast (PIM, IGMP, MSDP), Routing & Switching, WAN/MAN, VxLAN, Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5, Aruba (ClearPass), Meraki, AWS, Azure, GCP, Firewalls, DMZ, Load Balancing, Market Data Networks, Exchange Colocation, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
Global financial services technology team seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a mission-critical, low-latency global network. Role is hands-on, covering design, deployment, operations and support across data centres, colocation sites, WAN and cloud, within a follow-the-Sun EMEA team.
Key Skills & Experience

7-10+ years network engineering experience in large enterprise or financial services

Expert BGP and Multicast (PIM/IGMP/MSDP)

Strong routing & switching, WAN/MAN, Firewalls, DMZ, load balancers
-
Experience with Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto/ASA, F5, Aruba, Meraki

VxLAN deployment and troubleshooting

Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP networking
-
Automation/monitoring: Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK
-
Comfortable with on-call/escalation in a 24×6 environment
Financial markets/exchange proximity experience highly desirable.
