37 pw so yes, it is temp to perm
HGV technician that can also work on various other vehicles should the need arise.We operate a shift working pattern on a weekly basis.06:30-14:30 Mon-Thurs 06:30-14:00 Friday08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs 08:00-15:30 Friday
Essential:
Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in vehicle or plant maintenance in a multidisciplinary workshop environment.
Demonstrate some experience of Supervising, motivating and controlling employees within the post holders remit.
Hold a relevant qualification in Plant Motor Vehicle Technology equivalent to NVQ level 2/3
Hold a VOSA recognised Certificate for Large Goods Vehicle Safety/Roadworthiness Inspections
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of M.O.T. Testing, standards and procedures and be a qualified MOT inspector or actively in training as an MOT Inspector
Demonstrate a technical knowledge of vehicle/plant and equipment design and specifications
Must have an LGV category C Driving Licence and ideally category CE Driving Licence
This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
