AWS Cloud Architect (Inside IR35)

We’re looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with active SC Clearance to join our team. This role is perfect for a certified professional who is an expert in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on security, governance, and cost optimization within the AWS ecosystem.

The Role

You’ll be a key architect, responsible for defining and delivering robust cloud solutions. This includes designing platform target architectures and creating High-Level Designs (HLDs). You will work in an agile environment, leading teams and overseeing the development and testing of robust CI/CD pipelines.

Key Skills and Experience

• AWS Expertise: You must be an AWS-certified Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones. Strong knowledge of networking components like VPC, NACLs, and Transit Gateways is essential.
• DevOps Proficiency: Proven experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub. You’ll be comfortable building, testing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Security and Governance: A solid understanding of implementing security, audit, and logging mechanisms. Experience with cloud governance and cost management is also required.
• Agile and Collaboration: Experience working in an agile environment and using collaboration tools like Confluence and JIRA.
• Leadership and Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams, create comprehensive technical documentation and presentations, and effectively organize work.
