Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Senior Product Designer to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. You will create new and innovative design solutions that address the very particular needs of our users. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team working across all stages of the product life cycle.
2. Our best designers champion user-needs in their work, bringing project partners and team members with them to deliver intuitive and innovative experiences.
3. You will work alongside and under the guidance of a Design Principal and other members of your design squad, following SAFe, Lean and Agile product design methodologies.
4. You will follow best practice and relevant design methodologies and processes, from discovery, through define and to build.
5. You will create and deliver design system assets and capabilities.
6. You will evangelise the use of our design system.
7. You will develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviours, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all designs.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Demonstrable experience in a similar role and able to show evidence of how to build components.
2. Experience of creating and maintaining documentation to support a growing design system.
3. A passion for a clean and purposeful design.
4. The ability to translate high-level product requirements into design system assets that our colleagues can use in their designs.
5. Strong design, collaboration, and communication skills with evidence of guiding as a senior designer.
