ERP/Business Systems Manager – D365/Infor/SAP

We’re seeking an experienced IT Systems Development Manager to lead and evolve a high-performing development team, delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise systems (primarily ERP). This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team management, driving modern engineering standards and DevOps maturity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Business Systems team to drive performance and growth
• Oversee delivery, enhancement, and support of ERP systems (D365/Infor/SAP preferred)
• Champion best practices across the full SDLC (design, build, test, release, support)
• Drive DevOps adoption (CI/CD, automation, testing, release pipelines)
• Provide hands-on technical input including solution design, code reviews, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritise delivery
• Ensure robust architecture, documentation, and security standards
• Manage third-party vendors and development partners
• Build team capability through coaching and structured development

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in software development/systems engineering
• Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams
• Hands-on ERP experience
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and modern engineering approaches

Desirable:

• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Experience working across multi-site teams
• Agile/Scrum experience
