IFS FSM Consultant – Outside IR35 – Knottingley

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the healthcare technology sector to engage an experienced IFS FSM Consultant on an initial 12-month contract.

This role will support a global IFS ERP transformation programme, focusing on the Field Service Management (FSM) module. The successful consultant will play a key role in aligning business processes, delivering functional solutions, and supporting the transition to optimised ERP-driven service operations across a multi-entity environment.

This is a hands-on role combining functional analysis, stakeholder engagement, and system delivery, with a strong focus on improving field service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and support IFS FSM solutions, aligning system capabilities with business requirements.
• Analyse current processes and define future-state (To-Be) designs across field service operations.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.
• Support testing, data migration, and system integration activities across the ERP landscape.
• Provide user training, documentation, and post go-live support to business users and super-users.

Required Experience

• Proven experience working as an IFS Functional Consultant or Systems Analyst within FSM.
• Strong understanding of Field Service Management processes within IFS environments.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional ERP solutions.
• Experience supporting IFS implementations, upgrades, or transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and IT teams.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within global or multi-entity ERP environments.
• Exposure to data migration, integration, and testing processes.
• Experience using tools such as JIRA or similar delivery platforms.
• Broader exposure to IFS modules such as Finance or Supply Chain.
• Understanding of change management and user adoption strategies.
