AtAmplius,werelooking for a Community Safety Officer todeliver proactive and effective Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Community Safety Services across ourSouthregion. (Biggleswade and surrounding areas)

In this role,youllprotect ourcustomers, communities and assets through prevention, early intervention, and robust case managementwhilst fostering collaborative working with customers,partnersand internal stakeholders to build sustainable communities.

Salary:£37,400 + £2,665 Car Allowance

Contract:Permanent, Full Time

Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 9am 5:15pm)

Location:Hybrid with a weekly presence in ourMilton Keynesoffice, covering a patch around Biggleswade and surrounding areas

Snapshot of your role

  • Own a case load of ASB and community safety cases, ensuringtimely, proportionate and legally compliant responses.
  • Complete full case management, including proportionality assessments and preparation should any legal action berequired.
  • Understand and work towards regional performance against KPIs, service standards and customer satisfactionmeasures
  • Build andmaintaineffective relationships with local statutory officers in a designated area.
  • Attend multi-agency forums, for example MARAC and Community Safety Partnerships in person if possible.
  • Engage with customers to gather intelligence, build trust, and co-produce local safety initiatives for more complex case management
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintaina detailed knowledge of anti-social behaviour best practice and legislation
  • Champion a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and customer empowerment.

Whatwerelooking for

  • CIH Level 3 already achieved, working towards or willing to do so.
  • Good knowledge and experience overseeing complex ASB & Community Safety case management.
  • Good knowledge of Tenancy Enforcement and / or the tools and powers of the ASB AND Crime and policing Act 2014
  • Up to date knowledge of the regulatory environment
  • Experience of building positive relationships with Local Authority partners and other key stakeholders
  • Able to use housing systems effectively
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, with the capacity to navigate complex challenges
  • Able to travel around a large geographical area asrequired

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
