The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DT Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4. This full-time role begins ASAP and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of DT specialisms, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and high-quality Design Technology lessons
• Plan and deliver lessons across various DT disciplines (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics)
• Support student progress and well-being
• Collaborate effectively with the school s teaching staff
• Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive workshop environment
• Follow school policies and behaviour management practices
What We re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge and practical DT skills
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
