McCabe & Barton

We are looking for a hands-on Agentic AI Process Automation Analyst to work closely with our client’s operations teams to uncover manual processes, map them end-to-end, and translate them into well-structured automation requirements.

This is a business-facing role ideal for someone who loves understanding the root causes of operational inefficiency and enjoys collaborating with AI developers to design and deliver agentic workflow solutions. You will serve as the bridge between on-the-ground teams and AI development partners-helping shape how next-generation agentic automation is implemented across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations teams (fund controllers, fund accountants, client reporting, etc.) to deeply understand manual processes.
  • Map workflows, steps, edge cases, exceptions, and data dependencies.
  • Translate operational processes into clear, structured functional requirements for agentic AI automation.
  • Work closely with AI developers to design, test, and deploy agentic workflow solutions.
  • Identify quick-win automation opportunities while longer-term strategic platforms are developed.
  • Support QA, validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison between business teams and offshore/third-party development partners.
  • Champion AI-enabled solutions-socialising outputs, gathering feedback, and iterating with developers.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Strong business analysis background, gained within financial services, esp. asset management
  • Proven ability to dissect processes and uncover underlying drivers of manual work.
  • Experience in automation, digitisation, or AI-enabled process improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of how agentic AI/workflow AI solutions are developed (no coding required).
  • Ability to design or conceptualise agentic workflows and automation specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Experience working with offshore development teams.
  • Ability to operate independently with time-poor stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Financial operations knowledge (fund accounting, fund control, reporting).
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams (eg, London + Warsaw).

Location:

  • Hybrid – 3 days per week in office, plus occasional overseas travel (few days once per month)
