We have an exciting job opportunity for UI/UX Lead role at Telford, United Kingdom.

Role: UI/UX Lead

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 8 weeks + Possible extension

Work Location: Telford, United Kingdom [twice a week at client’s office] – Mandatory

Start date: ASAP

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in lead designer role.
• Proven portfolio showcasing design projects for web and mobile platforms.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and MuleSoft integration.
• Knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Experience:

Technical Skills:

• Experience in government or citizen-facing projects.
• Understanding of API-led connectivity and MuleSoft architecture.
• Expertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Added advantage knowing AI-Powered & Emerging Tools
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.

Preferred Qualifications & Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Knowledge of Front End frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
