Lloyd Recruitment Services is delighted to be working with a growing events and hospitality organisation in West Sussex. They are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced events environment and is looking to take ownership of both the strategic and hands-on elements of sales and marketing activity.

Reporting into the Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving event revenue, boosting brand visibility, and motivating a high-performing team. The role also offers exciting international travel opportunities throughout the year.

Key Duties of the Sales & Marketing Manager:

  • Design and implement sales strategies that boost attendance and support revenue growth
  • Plan and run integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and email platforms
  • Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and key contacts
  • Review event data and performance results to guide improvements and future planning
  • Coach and lead the sales and marketing team, helping them achieve shared objectives
  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring spending is monitored and resources are used effectively
  • Build connections within the industry to stay informed on trends and identify new prospects
  • Work closely with other teams, including operations and finance, to ensure smooth delivery

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in event operations
  • Strong background in sales and marketing with a record of achieving targets
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in digital marketing (SEO, social media, email marketing)
  • Experience managing website content
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting
  • Able to work well under pressure and adapt quickly
