Electronics Test Engineer

Location: Maidenhead
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 p/a
Working Pattern: Minimum 4 days on site (5 preferred)
Citizenship Requirement: British National

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Marlow. This role is integral to a new product development programme, focusing on the testing and troubleshooting of advanced electronic sub-assemblies. The successful candidate will work closely with design engineers to assess performance and resolve technical issues across both digital and analogue domains.

Key Responsibilities of the Electronics Test Engineer

• Perform hands-on testing of electronic sub-assemblies, ensuring compliance with performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in digital and analogue electronic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development and refinement.
• Utilise test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and VNAs where applicable.
• Document test results and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• British National (due to project security requirements).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of digital and analogue electronics.
• Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and VNAs.

Desirable Experience

• Background in military or avionics electronic equipment.
• Familiarity with defence or aerospace industry standards and practices.
