HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to leaders across a fast growing organisation. You will provide expert guidance on all people-related matters, ensuring HR strategies drive performance, support growth and protect the business from risk. This role requires strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions that balance people needs with organisational objectives. This a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organisational goals.
  • Build trusted relationships to influence decision-making and drive positive change.
  • Proactively identify and manage HR-related risk, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.
  • Apply commercial insight to HR decision-making to support business growth and operational performance.
  • Provide expert advice on organisational design, workforce planning and talent management.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues alongside the HR Shared Services Team.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, inclusion and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching to managers on performance, conflict resolution and employee development.
  • Support performance review cycles, succession planning and capability development.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to deliver learning solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Lead and support change initiatives with effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Use people analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with centralised HR teams to implement consistent HR practices.
  • Mentor and support HR Advisors.
  • Provide advice that mitigates risk and reduces financial exposure.

About You

  • Proven experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role within a complex environment. Candidates whose background of experience is from Housing or not-for-profit organisations would be reviewed favourably
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
