2. About Design Job Board

2.1

Design Job Board is a specialist employment website that enables jobseekers to search and apply for vacancies within design, creative and related professional sectors.

2.2

Vacancies may be posted directly by employers and recruitment agencies or supplied through third-party job-board and recruitment feeds.

2.3

Design Job Board acts as an advertising platform and is not normally the employer, recruiter or employment agency responsible for a vacancy unless expressly stated otherwise.

2.4

Some job listings may direct you to an advertiser’s website to view complete details or submit an application. Where this happens, you will deal directly with the relevant advertiser, and its own terms and privacy policy may apply.

3. Definitions

Means an employer, recruitment agency, employment business, job board or other organisation that advertises or supplies job vacancies.

5.3

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account unless that activity results from circumstances for which we are legally responsible.

5.4

We may suspend or remove an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, the account presents a security risk, or suspension is necessary to protect our users or services.

6. Job listings and advertisers

6.1

We take reasonable steps to maintain the quality of job listings, but we do not independently verify every advertiser, vacancy, description, salary, location or employment offer.

6.2

The publication of a job advert does not constitute our endorsement of the advertiser or a guarantee that:

  • The vacancy is still available;

  • The information provided is complete or accurate;

  • The advertiser will respond to an application;

  • An interview or employment offer will result; or

  • The advertiser is suitable for the jobseeker.

6.3

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and content of their job adverts and recruitment activities.

We may reject, edit, classify, suspend or remove a job advert where we reasonably consider it inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, inappropriate, expired or inconsistent with our policies.

6.5

If you identify a suspicious, misleading or potentially fraudulent vacancy, please report it to us promptly and do not provide money, banking details, passwords or other sensitive information to the advertiser.

7. Your responsibilities as a jobseeker

7.1

You are responsible for assessing the suitability and authenticity of a vacancy and advertiser before applying for or accepting employment.

7.2

You should independently confirm important information, including:

  • The advertiser’s identity;

  • The job description and location;

  • Salary and employment terms;

  • Required qualifications and experience;

  • Any professional or regulatory requirements; and

  • Your eligibility to undertake the role.

7.3

You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the qualifications, experience, licences and permissions required for any position.

7.4

If a vacancy is based in a country where you do not already have the legal right to work, you are responsible for checking applicable immigration, visa and work-permission requirements.

7.5

You should never make a payment to secure a job or disclose sensitive financial information unless you have independently verified that the request is genuine and lawful.

8. Applications and recruitment outcomes

8.1

We do not control recruitment decisions made by advertisers and cannot guarantee that an application will be reviewed, acknowledged or successful.

8.2

Any communication, interview, offer, contract or employment relationship is between you and the advertiser.

8.3

We are not a party to any employment agreement entered into between a jobseeker and an advertiser.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, including employer, recruiter and external application websites.

9.2

These links are provided for convenience and do not constitute our endorsement or approval of the third party.

10.3

We may change, withdraw or discontinue any website feature or service where reasonably necessary.

11. Intellectual property

11.1

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s design, branding, software, layout and original content belong to Digital Media Ads Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

15.2

A delay in enforcing any provision will not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
