About Us
AnalogFolk is an independent next generation creative company, and for 18 years has partnered with bold and ambitious brands to deliver creative and innovative solutions to help drive brand growth. Our client portfolio includes Costa, Perk, Meta, HSBC, L’Oreal, Galderma and Diageo. Our team is split between London and the US, and totals 60 people.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Midweight Designer to join the design team at AnalogFolk.
We’re a small, ambitious team of designers working alongside creatives, strategists, technologists and clients to make work that gets noticed.
You’ll work across some of the world’s biggest and most interesting brands, taking ideas from the first sketch through to the final execution that goes out into the world. We’re looking for someone who wants to think, make, experiment and own things. Someone with a strong creative instinct, a curious mind and the confidence to get stuck into a brief and figure out where it could go.
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of your own projects, working from brief through to final delivery. That means you’ll be involved in the whole creative process: understanding the problem, generating ideas, exploring different routes, developing the strongest one and making the final work brilliant.
You’ll work across a broad mix of projects and formats; from campaign ideas and digital experiences to social content, moving image and creating brand worlds.
You’ll work closely with our creative team throughout. Sometimes you’ll be developing a design in response to a creative idea; sometimes you’ll be bringing the idea yourself. Either way, we want designers who see collaboration as a way to make the work better.
You’ll also help us keep pushing how we make things. That could mean experimenting with AI, new digital tools, generative technology, motion, emerging formats or simply finding a smarter way to solve a familiar problem.
What we’re looking for
A creative problem solver
You don’t just make things look good. You’re interested in the thinking behind them. You can take a brief and find an unexpected way into it. You’re naturally curious and enjoy exploring. You’ll generate multiple routes, test ideas, throw things away and start again when you need to. You’re not precious about the first solution.
A designer with range
We’re looking for a generalist rather than a specialist. Someone who can move between different types of work and genuinely enjoys doing so. You might be designing a campaign one day, building out a social idea the next, then jumping into Figma, After Effects or an AI tool to figure out how something could work. We don’t expect you to be an expert at everything. We do want you to be interested in learning anything that helps you make better work.
Someone ready to own their work
At AnalogFolk, everyone gets real responsibility. So we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking a brief, figuring things out, asking the right questions, communicating clearly and seeing a piece of work through to the end, with the support from the senior team around them.
A brilliant collaborator
This is a small team, and we work closely with our creative department, so being good to work with is essential. You’ll need to be generous with ideas, open to feedback and confident enough to challenge things when you think there’s a better answer. We care about the work more than who had the original idea. No egos. Just better work.
Someone with a bit of get-up-and-go
We like people who notice things and do something about them. You might spot a new tool worth trying, bring an interesting reference into a creative review, teach yourself a new technique, question a brief or suggest a completely different way of approaching a problem. You need to be curious, proactive and hungry to make things happen.
Your toolkit
You should be confident working with:
Adobe Creative Suit; Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
After Effects and basic animation/motion
Figma
Video editing for social and digital content
AI and generative tools, with a genuine interest in where they’re going next
Experience
2+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency, studio or similarly creative environment.
This could be the perfect next step for a junior designer who’s ready to take on more responsibility and start owning projects.
We care much more about the quality of your thinking and your portfolio than where you’ve worked or what your job title has been.
You will be able to show us work that demonstrates:
Strong conceptual thinking
A distinctive creative point of view
Excellent graphic and digital design craft
Curiosity and experimentation
Range across different formats and disciplines
The ability to take an idea from concept through to execution
Work you’re genuinely proud of, and can talk us through
What we look for
Everyone brings their individual skills to AnalogFolk, however, there are five values which we are proud to have and look for in all new our recruits:
Stay Restless – Always strive for better to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Expect Remarkable – Go beyond the expected to create something worthy of remark. Accept nothing less.
Make Change – In everything you do, find a way to make a positive impact.
Do Good – Don’t talk about ideas that create progress. Make them. If something isn’t working, be the agent of change.
Be You – Bring all of yourself and make this place your own. In return, welcome all others.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced creative leader to head up Design at Engage while our current Head of Design is on maternity leave.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team working across brand and campaigns, UX/UI, digital experiences, motion and performance creative. You’ll set a clear creative standard, guide our most important work and help the team do its best work without every decision needing to come through you.
This is a broad agency leadership role. You’ll work closely with our Web, Performance and Activation teams, as well as Client Services and the wider leadership team, to make sure creative thinking shapes the work from the outset.
Vision for the role
We want Design to be a strong creative partner across the agency: involved early, confident in its thinking and able to deliver work that looks great and solves the right problem.
You’ll bring senior direction to complex projects and pitches, help develop the people around you and keep the department running well day to day. You’ll also have the judgement to balance creative ambition with client objectives, deadlines and budgets.
Duties and responsibilities
Creative leadership
Set and uphold the creative standard across the Design Team.
Provide direction, constructive challenge and quality control on significant projects.
Help teams connect creative decisions to audience needs, client objectives and evidence.
Give senior designers the support and space to lead work independently.
Champion craft, usability and attention to detail in the finished work.
Creative strategy and client work
Turn business, brand and audience challenges into clear creative directions.
Shape campaign concepts, digital experiences and creative recommendations alongside specialists across the agency.
Challenge briefs where needed and help teams get to the heart of the problem.
Present creative thinking confidently to senior clients, explaining the thinking behind the work.
Act as a trusted senior creative partner on key client accounts.
Web, Performance and Activation
Guide the creative approach to websites and digital experiences, working closely with UX/UI and Development.
Help Performance teams use audience, platform and results data to improve creative effectiveness.
Provide direction across campaigns, social, content and motion, ensuring ideas work across channels.
Help develop the creative capabilities and ways of working within each of these areas.
Team and department leadership
Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary Design Team.
Set clear priorities and expectations, and support people with regular feedback and progression.
Work with other teams to plan capacity and make sensible decisions when priorities compete.
Keep an appropriate eye on budgets, utilisation and the commercial performance of the department.
Improve processes and ways of working where they help the team produce better work.
New business
Help shape the creative angle and ambition of proposals and pitches.
Lead or support creative pitch work and present ideas to prospective clients.
Identify opportunities to bring stronger creative thinking into existing client relationships.
Skills and experience
We’d like to hear from people who have:
Senior creative or design leadership experience in a digital or integrated agency.
Led and developed designers across more than one discipline.
A strong track record in creative direction and strategy, as well as design craft.
A good understanding of digital experiences and how Design works with Development.
Experience with campaign creative and an understanding of how it contributes to marketing outcomes.
Confidence in presenting, storytelling and defending creative thinking with senior stakeholders.
Sound commercial judgement around scope, budgets, resourcing and delivery.
You don’t need to be the strongest ‘hands-on’ in every specialism, this role is more focussed on having the breadth and judgement to ask good questions, recognise excellent work and bring specialists together around a shared direction.
Authority
You’ll lead the Design team and have ownership of its creative standards, team development and day-to-day direction. You’ll be the senior Design voice in agency leadership conversations and across important client opportunities.
This is primarily a leadership and direction role. There will be moments to get hands-on, particularly in early concepting, pitches or difficult creative challenges, but your greatest impact will come through the work you help others produce.
Person specification
You’re a confident, collaborative creative leader who can make decisions when there are competing views or imperfect information. You give clear feedback, bring people with you and care about developing the capability of the team.
You can move comfortably between creative strategy, client conversations, people leadership and the practical realities of agency delivery. You know when work needs more time and attention, and when a pragmatic solution is the right call.
What does success look like in this role?
Engage continues to produce strong, strategically grounded creative work across Web, Performance and Activation.
The Design Team has clear priorities, ownership and support, with senior people confident leading their work.
Design is involved early enough to shape opportunities and client work.

Designer
Employer: Art Fund Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent Salary: £37,456 per annum Location: King’s Cross, London N1C – Hybrid (Minimum 2 days in office per week)
Who are we?
Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. With over 148,000 members, we are leading the way in pioneering support for an inclusive and welcoming museum and gallery sector across the UK.
We work closely with a network of over 1000 museums and respond to their needs and aspirations. We’re excited to see how they want to develop: to expand and diversify their collections and workforce, develop curatorial skills, make ambitious acquisitions, and create a welcoming, inclusive space for communities. With the support of over 148,000 members who buy a National Art Pass, patrons, and donors we can provide grants, encourage visiting and advocate for museums’ essential role and value.
We have diversity, inclusion, and sustainability central to our thinking and the opportunity to be a force for good, galvanise support and help change things for the better inspires our team.
The role
We’re looking for a Designer who cares about the craft as much as the idea — someone who finds real satisfaction in getting things right, whether that’s a multi‑page publication, a set of digital assets, or a single piece of artwork that needs to be perfect down to the smallest detail.
This role sits at the heart of our Creative Team. Most days you’ll be deep in design lead – precision creative artworking: building high‑volume digital and social assets, shaping long‑form documents, preparing print‑ready files, and making sure everything is brand‑consistent, technically robust and ready to go. Alongside that, you’ll take on genuine design work — developing concepts for campaigns, events and digital formats, and bringing ideas to life across multiple channels.
You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to translate Art Fund’s visual identity / brand story across print, digital, social, environmental and campaign formats. Some days that means designing stage comps or signage for Museum of the Year, other days it’s delivering a full suite of digital and social assets, each one crafted with the same attention to detail, or building decks and mock-ups that help people see the idea clearly.
If you enjoy a balance of design and production (the thinking as much as the making) and you take pride in work that’s accurate, thoughtful and beautifully executed, then this is a lovely role for you.
Key Employee Benefits
Generous Annual leave – 25 days annual leave and bank holidays, with additional non-contractual office closure dates at Christmas.
Free National Art Pass (NAP) – for yourself and another person of your choice.
Free Entry to Exhibitions
Life Assurance – cover for up to three times your basic salary.
Season Ticket Loan
Pensions – Eligible employees are enrolled into the scheme with the exception of those who have contracts of three months or less. Art Fund contributes 8% of the basic annual salary during the first six months of employment or until probation is successfully completed, whichever is the later. At that point the contribution is increased to 10%.
Closing deadline: 23.59pm on Sunday 11 October 2026
N.B. We reserve the right to close this advert early, so please get your completed application in as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment.

You’ll be the person driving our visual output, working closely with the VP of Brand Marketing and collaborating with a small in-house creative team, including a Creative Producer who’ll handle the logistics so you can stay focused on the work.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to hand briefs over a wall. You’ll be across every stage of the creative process: concept, direction, shoot, and post. What we need is someone with a clear point of view, the energy to maintain it at volume, and the conviction to hold the standard.
What you’ll do
Campaigns
This is where you get to define how Spoke looks and feels to the world. You’ll bring genuine creative vision to every campaign. Not just executing ideas, but originating them. We care about substance: the quality of light, the choice of location, the way a garment drapes on a model. The details matter here, and you’ll be the person holding the standard.
Lead creative development on seasonal and evergreen campaigns, from initial concept through to final delivery
Translate brand strategy and positioning into compelling visual concepts with a clear, confident point of view
Art direct still and video shoots, both in-studio and on location, with close attention to every creative detail
Own the shot list, mood boards, and creative direction documents that set the tone for every shoot
Push the standards. Ask whether it’s good enough. Have the conviction to say when it isn’t.
The ecommerce photography library
Our website is our flagship store. For most of our customers, it’s the only Spoke they’ll ever walk into. That makes our product photography as creatively important as anything else we produce, and we treat it that way. Consistency, craft, and a genuinely considered approach to how each garment is lit, styled, and shot. These aren’t nice-to-haves. They’re the job.
Art direct ecommerce shoots with the same rigour you’d bring to campaign work, because our customers don’t distinguish between them
Build and maintain a clear visual language for product photography: lighting, styling, composition, mood
Work closely with photographers and stylists to deliver a library that’s consistent at scale, not just beautiful in isolation
Review selects with a sharp eye, ensuring every image earns its place
Team and collaboration
Work closely with the Lead Digital Designer and copywriter to align campaign creative with channel execution
Feed briefs and assets to the wider team in a way that sets them up to do their best work
Contribute to building a creative culture defined by our brand values: substance, ease, and wit
Requirements
What we’re looking for
3–5 years of art direction experience, ideally in-house at a fashion or lifestyle brand (agency background considered)
A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign concepting and ecommerce or product photography direction
Sharp visual instincts and a clear point of view. You know what good looks like and you won’t let it slide
The energy and stamina to deliver great work at volume, not just on hero campaigns
Organised and proactive, with the ability to stay calm when deadlines stack up
A collaborator who communicates clearly and works well in a small, focused team
Comfortable in a fast-moving DTC environment where priorities can shift
Nice to have
Experience directing menswear or tailoring shoots
A genuine passion for menswear
Familiarity with ecommerce image standards and post-production workflows
Exposure to motion or video direction
Benefits
Private Healthcare Plan
Pension Plans
Work From Home

About The Role
A portfolio is required to be submitted as part of your application
You are a creative designer with a technologist streak. You’re responsible for the quality of interaction design, delightful moments, and UI quality on the projects you work on. You bring storytelling into everything you make, whether that’s a brand’s online presence or a single interaction.
AI is part of your workflow. You use LLMs to work at speed, from ideation through to production, and you’re comfortable coding with AI to bring your own concepts to life. You think beyond working faster, and consider how AI can genuinely improve the experiences we build for clients. You bring that thinking into the design studio.
You might mentor junior or mid-weight creative team members, or concentrate and own a particular competency within the discipline, such as motion, design systems, or AI-driven workflows.
You provide better quality, more ambitious user experiences, as well as lower development costs, as you create usable code as part of the design process.
You produce work that’s built to compete, and to win.
Responsibilities
Expand and evolve client brands into rich online experiences, working within and extending design systems
Lead concept development for digital products and services, from concept through to polished execution, bringing storytelling into every project
Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and production, and code with AI assistance to build experiences directly
Identify where AI can genuinely improve client experiences, not just how we produce them, and bring that thinking back into the studio
Partner with clients, UX, research, and development teams to ensure creative vision survives real-world constraints, on time and on budget
Ensure designs are accessible and meet usability and user-centred design standards
Identify and address delivery risks before they become issues
Mentor junior and mid-weight team members, sharing practice knowledge across the studio
Contribute to communities of practice and studio growth initiatives
Produce work that competes for, and wins, industry recognition
Dimensions
Resource complexity and nature of work teams:
This role works across multiple concurrent projects, balancing creative craft with hands-on build using AI-assisted coding, and operates with a high degree of autonomy, shaping ambiguous briefs into concepts, design systems, and working prototypes.
Complexity sits in the fusion of disciplines: creative direction, interaction design, and front-end build, moving fluidly between them as needed.
Day-to-day collaboration spans UX, research, and development teams, plus clients directly on top-tier accounts, and the role may include ownership of a specific competency, such as motion, systems, or AI workflows. Influence extends beyond individual projects, shaping how the wider team adopts AI, and decisions carry real weight on client relationships and account growth.
Problem solving responsibility and complexity:
This role solves problems that sit at the intersection of creative vision and technical feasibility, often with no clear precedent to follow.
Briefs can be loosely defined, requiring the individual to interpret client needs, weigh creative ambition against delivery constraints, and decide how AI tools can genuinely improve an experience rather than just speed up its production.
Solutions must hold up across brand, interaction design, and code, so trade-offs in one area need to be understood in terms of their impact on the others.
Judgement is exercised independently on most projects, with escalation reserved for problems that affect client relationships, account growth, or studio-wide ways of working.
Change management requirements:
Influencing clients and internal teams to adopt AI-augmented ways of working, based on creative recommendations and a clear view of where AI genuinely improves the experience.
Supports smooth transitions by clearly communicating the rationale behind design and technical decisions, helping stakeholders understand the benefits and impacts of new approaches.
Mentoring and collaboration also contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, helping the wider team evolve their practice alongside changing tools and expectations.
Internal / External interactions:
Head of Design
Design team – UX researchers, designers
Strategy team
Tech team
Project management and Delivery
Client teams and stakeholders
Strategic timeframe working towards: 1-3 year strategic plan
About You
Professional knowledge and experience
Essential

Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and how to work within technical constraints without losing creative ambition
Proven expertise in creative design within sectors such as not-for-profit, higher education, and public services.
Strong leadership in managing complex projects, delivering on time and budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Demonstrated ability to balance creative vision with commercial constraints and budget management
Experience leading creative direction from concept through to delivery, ensuring design quality across multidisciplinary teams
Understanding of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, copyright considerations and the appropriate use of generative AI within client projects

Skilled in AI-assisted coding tools and workflows, using them to accelerate build without compromising quality

Experience using modern prototyping tools and design collaboration platforms.
Familiarity with component-based design and front-end frameworks (for example React) to collaborate effectively with development teams.
