Job Title – Web Developer

Location: Cornwall

Salary – 35,000 – 45,000

PHP – OPP – JavaScript – Vue – Svelte – React – MySQL – GIT – WordPress – Docker – Bash

A key client of mine who are a dynamic digital agency known for delivering innovative solutions that push the boundaries of digital experiences. Their team are passionate about crafting user-centric designs and robust web applications that resonate with their clients’ audiences.

My client is seeking a talented and experienced Mid/Senior Web Developer to join their growing team. As a key member of their development team, you will be responsible for implementing front-end and back-end solutions, ensuring the best possible performance, usability, and responsiveness of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue, Svelte, React).
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code in PHP with a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Implement server-side logic and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Create and maintain databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Deploy applications in Docker containers and manage related configurations.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Professional experience as a Web Developer or Software Engineer.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Svelte, React).
• Strong understanding of PHP and experience with OOP concepts.
• Experience with Bash scripting and Docker.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Candidates must be based in Cornwall as this is an Hybrid 2 days a week in the office,
