We are a consumer web3 startup based in Los Angeles and London and the founders are serial entrepreneurs with experience at top-tier consumer startups (like Snap).

We re backed by world class investors like Lightspeed Ventures Partners (Snap, Affirm, Cameos) and Upfront Ventures (GOAT, Ring, Bird). We re building a personalized messaging platform to deliver first-of-its-kind fun and utility to existing web3 communities. We ve closed a large seed round and are building out our creative and engineering teams in Los Angeles and London.

What you ll do

Stickies is looking for a Lead Product Designer to help us build a fun, but highly functional, consumer and web3 product. We are a spin-off of an established startup and you ll be building from a strong foundation.

  • You will take ownership of our suite of web3 social and communication products.
  • You will partner with Engineering, the Creative Director, and the CEO to design a suite of products that surprise and delight, feel cohesive to one another, and work on mobile / desktop beautifully.
  • You ll own designing new product designs as we expand our product suite.
  • You will partner with a UX and UI designer to create intuitive flow diagrams, sketches, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, interaction storyboards, and other web and mobile design deliverables that guide creative, content, and development efforts.
  • You ll practice a highly efficient, iterative design process with light documentation.
  • You ll drive design discussions and collaborative workshops with teams, helping generate concepts that inspire.

What you ll bring

  • 5+ years as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role for consumer applications. Mobile experience is a must, but experience designing for desktop and web is a plus.
  • An incredible portfolio demonstrating design thinking, expertise and innovation, including customer journey diagram, sketches, comp designs, and wireframes for multiple form factors and platforms (Please share a link to your portfolio when submitting your resume.)
  • Experience designing for complex, interactive web based software products and mobile apps
  • Expertise in creating wireframes as well as visual design comps
  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles, web design best practices, visual trends and emerging web3 technologies.
  • Expert at Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Axure, Figma/Sketch, and/or other UX design and prototyping tools
  • An amazing smile and passion for collaborating with highly-talented teams!

Nice to haves:

  • Recreational or professional interest in web3, smart contracts, NFTs etc.
  • Discord bots, browser extensions, or mobile keyboard plugins
  • Ability to convert design comps to HTML5 and CSS is a plus
  • Knowledge of the agile/lean UX methodologies

Office hours 9-6pm with flexible working options available. We are hybrid with two days a week in the office to socialize with the wider team, attend face-to-face meetings, and collaborate.
