About the role:
The UX / UI Designer will work with our product and engineering teams to create truly engaging experience. This is an opportunity to cover all aspects of the design process, including workshops, ideation, user testing and UX/UI deliverables. Team hybrid working style: We are very proud to offer one of the most flexible hybrid working arrangements in the industry! The expectation for this role, will involve a minimum of one day each month – working out of our London Bridge office. Key accountabilities:

• Design new products and features for the Android and iOS apps, online banking and onboarding journey using our design system
• Manage and maintain the Cashplus design system ensuring it is usable and follows best practice – creating new components when needed
• Create multiple concepts and prototypes and iterate ideas quickly
• Work with engineers and product to solve complex design problems and ensure designs are feasible
• Run usability tests with the user experience team to ensure designs meet user needs and create a positive user experience
• Work with stakeholders to ensure products and features are compliant
• Champion user driven design within the wider business

You’ll need to have:

• Proven experience designing products for mobile app and web
• Experience in fast paced agile environments
• Can iterate ideas and quickly produce multiple concepts and prototypes
• Can solve complex design problems and has experience working with existing systems
• Can consider usability details as well as the overall journey
• Good technical knowledge and experience designing with developers
• Comfortable working with Android and iOS patterns and existing design systems
• Comfortable writing concise UX copy
• Experience working on user research studies
