UX/UI Designer (Senior level)

Location: This role can be fully remote across the UK or commutable from Bristol, Cheltenham, Bath, Gloucester, Cirencester.

About you:

This is an important role which will allow for a lot of autonomy and leadership as this company are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and creative product designer to join the team to create the next generation of digital learning applications.

If you consider yourself to be an all – rounder that is more than happy to wear more than one hat then this role is the perfect opportunity for you as you will contribute to the product roadmap and take their customers eLearning to the next level! With being the sole designer you must have experience in facilitating end-user research and product evaluation. You will be leading UX and design work while collaborating in a cross functional team.

Are you an individual that has strong visual design skills including Layout, Hierarchy, Colour, Iconography, and Typography? You can expect to work on design iOS, Android and responsive products and will need strong wireframing skills and experience taking these through to high fidelity. Fluent use of Sketch, Adobe CC, Figma (or other design and prototyping skills) and experience with designing and implanting accessibility standards.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working within Agile processes
• Studied or interested in psychological and cognitive sciences
• Some knowledge of HTML and SCSS
• Good creative writing skills (likes writing copy)
• Knowledge of Google’s Material Design Principles
• Illustration and motion design experience
• An interest in digital learning
• 3+ years of experience as a product designer
