Elevation IT are working with a leading ecommerce business in Leeds, West Yorkshire in recruiting a talented UX Designer (front end).

Hybrid working, 1-2 days in the office

Salary up to £45,000 + benefits

As a UX Designer at you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of all digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and engaging interfaces, ensuring a seamless user journey. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will enable you to bring your designs to life, creating interactive and responsive web experiences.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design concepts
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on design goals and requirements
• Implement designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and interactive web pages
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback
• Maintain a user-centered approach throughout the design and development process
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX design and front-end development

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design and front-end development skills
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including experience in modern frameworks including React JS
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Demonstrable experience with modern UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundations
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
