Who we re looking for:

  • You have a passion for design and delivering innovative products and/or services
  • You understand and champion user centred design and have a proven experience of collaborating with other design disciplines
  • You have experience running workshops, engaging stakeholders at all levels to generate ideas that will lead to tactile prototypes
  • You know how to how to take insights from research and analysis to synthesis and/or design intent – creating great user experiences
  • You have an excellent ability to tell a story visually and bring designs to life
  • You can absorb and present large amounts of information, balancing business, technical and user needs
  • You have proven experience creating user experience (UX) artefacts such as mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and personas
  • You can have the ability to engage in usability testing and design iteration
  • You can offer recommendations on the best tools and methods for UX/UI Design
  • You are naturally curious, creative, and motivated to deliver excellent user experiences
  • You will an open mind and positive attitude that inspires others to achieve amazing things

  • You can defuse challenging conflicts, bringing all parties together to agree mutually acceptable solutions

It would be great if:

  • You have experience working in an agile environment, helping teams to manage and prioritise backlogs to achieve MVP
  • You have an understanding or experience with the government s GDS service standard
