UI Developer – up to £700 per day inside ir35 – 12 months (extension highly likely) – fully onsite working – Gloucestershire – DV cleared projects – Sector: Defence & Technology

Yolk recruitment are recruiting for an UI User interface Developer to work with a cutting-edge technology leader that is working on groundbreaking projects critical to the defence of the nation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project not seen anywhere else in the country.

Due to the security nature of the project, you will require an eDV security clearance on submission.

Responsibilities:

Work as part of Agile software development teams to deliver high-quality UI solutions.

Collaborate with designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.

Contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from concept to deployment.

Stay current with UI development best practices and industry trends.

Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues as they arise.

Core Skills:

• Hold a current DV security clearance.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as part of Agile software development teams.
• Strong UI development experience, ideally in React or Angular.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desirable Skills:

• A degree in computer science or a related field
