Yolk Recruitment are delighted to be collaborating with a dynamic and expanding SaaS platform startup based in South Wales. Our client is looking for a talented, passionate and solutions driven UI Designer that is Figma-savvy.

You will have the opportunity to have a significant impact in building and owning the design system for a company who have a unique employer first culture, that is driven by passionate and experienced leaders in the Technology space.

As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Designing a complete design system for a new, SaaS platform that will be delivering 5 large, key feature builds by the end of 2024.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will have you creating new UI components, refactoring old ones to meet the design systems standards, whilst maintaining any changes required to design libraries.
• Taking ownership of design enhancements, including good knowledge of both visual and interaction design.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience as a UI / Interaction designer (3+ years’ experience).
• Experience using Figma components, variables, variants, and properties.
• Experience working with Design Systems, asset libraries or UI systems.
• Experience in building interactive prototypes to demonstrate features and user flows
• Ability to create high quality responsive UI designs, incorporating auto layouts and constraints
• Knowledge of how to optimise designs for the design systems.
• Evidence of working with developers to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation.
