Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Remote Backend Developer to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in building and maintaining robust, scalable systems. As a Backend Developer, you will work on developing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and integrating with front-end components. • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database structures. Ensure the responsiveness and scalability of applications.
• System Integration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Collaborate on designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas and queries. Manage data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and security.
• Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and implement unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
• Security & Performance: Implement security and data protection measures. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and industry trends. Continuously improve and refactor codebases for efficiency and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development. Proven experience in developing scalable web applications and APIs.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js. Strong knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Web Technologies: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Security & Best Practices: Understanding of security best practices and data protection. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) for better integration with back-end services.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a collaborative, remote team environment.
