We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Service Designer to join our team. As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for creating seamless and user-centered experiences across various touchpoints and channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, identify pain points, and design innovative solutions that enhance the overall service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points throughout the service journey.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project goals and objectives.
  3. Create user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints to visualize the service ecosystem and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop prototypes and wireframes to demonstrate and test new service concepts and features.
  5. Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for digital and physical touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, and physical spaces.
  6. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics data.
  7. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure successful implementation of service design solutions.
  8. Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in service design and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Service Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful service design projects.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirement:

  • BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance or willingness to undergo BPSS check as required for the role
