Senior Web Developer – Manchester(Hybrid Remote) £50k – £60k perannum

This is anexcellent opportunity for an experienced Web Developer to takeownership for the development of an all-new customeruser portal and work with a high degree ofautonomy.

Based in Greenheyscentral Manchester, withhybrid remote working and flexiblehours, this position is paying between£50k and £60k + perks and benefits.

THE COMPANY:
With offices inManchester, London and Denver, this relatively small but verysuccessful software development company has created a suite oftheir own backup and disaster recovery products that are used byover 10 million customers worldwide and translated into 13languages.

Founded and led by thedeveloper of the company’s first product that was launched 16 yearsago, they remain a “software-first” focused organisation with allof their executive management team having come from a softwareengineering background, resulting in product quality and soundengineering being the top priority.

They are about to embark on a number of initiatives to movefrom a hosted to a SAAS solution, expand their product suite,create new product dashboards, as well as create their own cloudstorage solution.

THE ROLE:
Having just completed the development of their new CMS system,they will soon be embarking on the creation of a new user portaland product dashboards. You will be both taking ownership of thedevelopment of this new portal as well as handling the extensionand maintenance of the new CMS system.
This willinclude:

• Engaging with senior levelmanagement and internal stakeholders to identify and define therequirements and functionality of theplatform.
• Designing, developing, and testingthe system in unison with the UX Designers, Junior Web Developerand wider software engineeringteam.
• Researching and evaluating any newfeatures, ensuring they’re delivered to a highstandard.
• Maintaining, updating and evolvingthe newly built CMS system
• Coaching andmentoring more juniordevelopers

REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:

• 4+ years WebDevelopment experience
• Proficient in C# /.NetCore, ASP MVC, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, SQL andSSMS

Nice to have but notessential:

• NextJs
• Strapi
• Figma
