UI Designer (Figma / Adobe creative / After Effects / Animations / CSS)

Fully Remote 6 months £500 – £600 per day OUTSIDE IR35

SR2 are excited to be partnering with a non-profit tech business who are helping to make the world a better place through technology. This business has seen huge success in the last 2 years and after significant funding in 2021 are now looking to expand the team and build out the product further.

You’ll be working alongside an exceptionally strong team of both contractors and permanent staff who are working with some modern technologies and have some very exciting plans for 2022 / 23. You’ll be helping build a product that genuinely helps other business to be more environmentally friendly and sustainable in the long run.

Key skills:

• Strong UI Design experience with a strong portfolio
• Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, colour, layout, iconography etc.
• Experience illustrating concepts through sketches, story boards, user flows, diagrams, wire frames, mock ups etc.
• Strong experience with Figma and other software that supports production
• Experience building and shipping applications
• Advanced knowledge of usability and design principles for web and mobile development
• Strong interaction design experience

Desirable (but not required)

• Experience of After Effects and SVG Animation (e.g Lottie)
• Experience/Knowledge of React UI Library, CSS preprocessors, emotion/styled-components, and storybook etc
• Solid understanding of front-end, back-end and the software development life cycle would be a great advantage (HTML, CSS, JS)
