To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to come and join our team based at Head Office (LE67 6HS).
As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
• Ensure the existing design, development, and expansion of a near real-time data platform integrating AWS, Databricks and on-prem JDE systems.• Maintain and development, CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployment and updates.• Optimise and manage the data platform to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain platform health and performance.• Ensure Data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.• Collaborate with data engineers, data analyst and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver efficient data solutions.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, infrastructure, and integrations.
In order to be successful as our Senior DevOps Engineer, we would ideally like you to be/have:
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as Amazon Web Service EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and QuickSight• Proficiency in Databricks and its integration with cloud and on-prem systems.• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices for example GitHub, GitLab CI or alternatives.• Excellent Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.• Experience with on-premises ERP/Enterprise system integrations.• 5+ Years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or a related role• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies
