Mobilus Labs is looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about building the best customer experience for users of the Mobilus Labs Voice Platform. You will be working with fellow engineers, designers, and product owners in a collaborative environment to develop and test our mobile and web-based software applications, as well as our innovative hardware solutions. This role will also give our new team member the opportunity to explore new technologies and approaches in testing and delivering high quality user experiences to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Create test designs, plans, scripts, programs and supporting artifacts, using appropriate tools and best practices, to identify and analyze software and hardware problems
  • Perform fully integrated user experience tests with hardware and software in the loop, collecting quality data and reporting results effectively
  • Recommend improvements in the software and hardware products to enhance the user experience
  • Work with Product Owners and Engineers to maintain a prioritized backlog of known issues
  • Analyze, clarify, and prioritize user requirements with Product Owners and Business Managers
  • Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality and oversee continuous improvement projects

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Desire to work on new technologies across hardware and software stacks, within a dynamic and highly technical team
  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in writing test scripts, test procedures, test plans and test reports
  • Experience in using standard issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Experience with continuous integration (CI) (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Experience with a variety of QA Automation technologies (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, WebDriver, Postman, Apache Jmeter, Robot framework)
  • Knowledge of standard testing tools (e.g. Jest, CypressJS, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • 3 years’ experience in an Integration and Test function
  • Ability to work in the UK now
