Product Manager
Law Business Research is a technology-enabled information services business powering the global legal industry with intelligence, analytics, and performance data.
We deliver must-have intelligence to our clients when they need it, through a combination of time-sensitive insight, proprietary data and analytics, expert research, and sophisticated tools.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Product Manager to join our Product and Technology team at Law Business Research.
What you will do
- Transform our ambitious roadmap into detailed requirements – working collaboratively with UX designers and developers to deliver user flows, wireframes and user stories.
- Manage and prioritise a backlog ensuring the team is focused and enabled to deliver on priorities.
- Make decisions on scope to deliver value in increments as quickly as possible.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, be the go-to person, enable fast decision-making.
- Set, measure, and analyse KPIs and base your priorities and decisions for next steps on metrics.
- Provide relevant information to the sales and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with the wider product team to ensure that each area of the product is well integrated to deliver a seamless user experience and a platform capable of scale.
What we are looking for
- You have experience leading development teams as a product manager. Familiar with working closely with engineers, designers and stakeholders to deliver on the strategic roadmap.
- You are an exceptional communicator. Able to explain your vision of what a product needs to do to both internal team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- You have experience working with senior stakeholders. You recognise the value of their expertise and experience, but you are comfortable challenging an approach and sharing your own opinion.
- You use data to drive and inform your decisions. You can effectively prioritise initiatives for driving customer value. You also know how to build a business case and can use them to defend your priorities.
- You are customer focused with an understanding of UX/UI principles. You recognise the value of feedback of end users. You value simplicity in design approach and making sure that interfaces don’t leave users confused.
- You have a keen eye for detail. You love to understand how things work and challenge the elements that don t make sense to you.
Bonus points:
- Experience working in legal tech or knowledge of the legal market.
