Are you a talented and experienced Product Designer within Apps ready for a new adventure? If you have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, are driven by attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.
This will be a contract role through to the end of the year with 2 day hybrid working each week in Reading and is working for a high profile telecoms company.
What you will be doing?
- Problem Solving and Insight Gathering:- Constructively challenging briefs and seeking clarity through relevant questions.
- Gather and analyse data to support project briefs.
- Propose additional research when necessary for brief validation or a better understanding of the scenario championing best practices for approaching design challenges.
- Demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Identify potential problems and risks that may affect project delivery and proactively communicate and escalate challenges.
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Designers, and Developers to solve problems and bring ideas to life.
- Participate in the creation of concepts, customer journeys, screens, and prototypes.
- Structure activities, including workshops, sharing sessions, and demos.
About your essential and desirable skills and experience.
- Strong Product Design experience with a heavy background in favour of apps as opposed to websites
- End to end product design to include ideally a hybrid of UX and UI
- Expert knowledge of Figma and proficiency in working with and creating design systems.
- Experience working with developers and delivery teams.
- The proven ability to analyse and synthesise research results to communicate insights for team collaboration.
- Experience of planning, designing, and conducting User testing sessions (remote or in person)
