Our client a multi-national consultancy, is recruiting a .Net Lead Software Engineer to join their product engineering team and work in multidisciplinary agile teams with product owners, QA engineers, UX designers and business analysts.
The location is flexible with assignment to their London, Manchester or Leeds offices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for your teams, taking ownership of projects through discovery and into.
- Guide clients in shaping their ideas by applying technical knowledge, defining project strategy and technology selection.
- Take responsibility for identifying project risks and taking steps to mitigate the risks before they become real issues.
- Solid Team experience – Promoting best practices and helping to develop teams by providing constructive feedback to peers and junior team members. Sharing your knowledge with the wider team and supporting learning opportunities.
- Show effective management of your immediate project team and demonstrating an ability to influence business stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, assisting in bridging the gap between the two.
Requirements:
The client welcomes applications from polyglot developers with experience in other stacks e.g., Ruby, Java, Scala. You will be expected to have experience and develop your technical skills within the following areas:
- Strong software development background with C#.Net based tech.
- Cloud development on AWS, Azure or GCP including deployment, scaling, and writing for containers, experience with serverless would be a bonus!
- Cloud Services – particularly messaging and storage options.
- Native or hybrid mobile development on iOS/Android with React Native, Xamarin or Flutter.
- Front end development: deployment, management of SPA, Server-Side rendering, Webpack/Babel, Gulp, Razor Pages.
- Software design and architecture following clean architecture, domain driven design, serverless or microservices.
- A strong understanding of software security concerns and options for mitigation.
- Umbraco/Headless CMS.
- Software testing, performance optimisation and maintenance.
- Relational and NoSQL database design including Elastic.
Whilst you are not expected to be proficient in all the above, you should be able to demonstrate a general understanding of the concepts and start to specialise in a couple of key areas.
You ll be expected to keep up to date within the tech field. Sponsorship for certifications and training courses is available.
