Role: Mobile Engineering Lead

The Mobile Engineering Lead role is to assure the successful execution of the company’s business mission of connecting through development and deployment of the company’s Mobile/Web presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice servant leadership to empower and maximize the capabilities of talented technologists within the team.
- Specialize in accelerating startup launch velocity within enterprise environments, navigating organizational complexities to deliver robust solutions.
- Expertise in simplifying complex solutions for effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to coach, train, and scale teams with a “seller-doer” mindset, initiating and maturing engagements towards stable delivery.
Role Specifics:
- Design and develop innovative solutions and products that address real customer challenges, spanning from greenfield projects to existing systems.
- Architect modern, cloud-native solutions and provide mentorship to geographically distributed teams.
- Collaborate hands-on with development teams, emphasizing software qualities like testability, security, and scalability.
- Advocate for agile practices that support iterative product development and drive continuous improvement across projects.
- Foster strong partnerships with product managers, architects, and designers, promoting a collaborative and transparent work environment.
Desired Skills:
- Should have experience in mobility (Web and native apps), must have an intimate experience with native app development (Android, iOS), as well as experience developing products for the mobile web.
- Experience managing Mobile/Web application development including mobile applications
- Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular Mobile/Web application framework.
- A technocrat having hands-on experience on Ecommerce technologies, pro in coding.
- History of strong leadership and the ability to maintain a collaborative culture.
- Previously managed, mentored, motivated and grew a mature and goal-driven engineering team.
- Familiar with more than one software development methodology.
- Has contributed to one or more open-source projects.
- Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization.
- Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.
- Familiarity with consumer privacy and payment industry compliance requirements.
- Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.
