We’re working with an inspiring tech company on a mission to support people with autism and/or neurological difference to achieve their goals and live more independently. Their product provides practical assistance to empower users to manage challenges and maintain their wellbeing, combining technology and on-demand human support. Research suggests that three-quarters of people who need help never get it, but they are fiercely determined to help people to thrive by addressing this unmet need and creating a fairer, more accessible world for their users.Award winning and approved by the Department for Education and Department for Work and Pensions, this business is supported by the NHS and has over 8.5k users (and growing!). Their product is widely used across health/social care, HE and workplace.They’ve recently secured over 3.5 million in grant and investment funding to scale their team so they can reach more users. As part of this growth, they are looking for a Midweight Full Stack Developer to join their team.What you’ll be doing:Joining a well-established and collaborative engineering team that includes, FS Developers, Mobile Developers, Automation engineers, PO, PM, Designers and Business Analyst, you’ll help create an engaging, impactful, and scalable user experience and will be responsible for delivering on a packed product roadmap, whilst maintaining and improving production systems and architecture. They involve users in every stage of product development, and you’ll work across the full product lifecycle including understanding user and business needs, idea generation, planning, accessibility, security, designing and developing solutions, and supporting features after they’ve launched.They’re building a team where ideas and opinions are listened to and people feel comfortable to respectfully challenge and question with the goal of improving and future-proofing the product, so you’ll help to uphold and promote this.The skills we’re looking for:

  • Strong commercial software development experience with C# .Net Core.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript, SCSS/CSS, HTML.
  • Experience with Vue is ideal but they’ll also consider experience with other modern reactive web frameworks like Angular or React.
  • MongoDB & SQL Server.
  • High level of understanding of object-orientated design principles such as SOLID and design patterns.
  • An advocate of ongoing learning and someone who is happy to mentor and develop skills across the wider team.

Bonus points for

  • Interest in or experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm and the Azure ecosystem.
  • An interest in or experience with assistive technology.
