Are you a highly skilled Mid-Senior Front-End Developer? Do you have extensive experience in Shopify development?

Working for this demi-luxury brand you will have a strong understanding of web development technologies and be proficient in Javascript (Vanilla), SCSS, Liquid, and HTML. This role requires a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, who can contribute to projects from concept to completion.

Hybrid Working – 3 days in the office

Duties & Responsibilities of the Mid-senior Shopify Frontend Developer:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create responsive, high-performance web pages
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Implement and optimise web designs using SCSS, HTML, and Vanilla Javascript
• Customise Shopify functionalities using Liquid templates and scripts
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise for mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies

What you will need to succeed as the Mid-senior Shopify Frontend Developer:

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a portfolio showcasing Shopify projects
• Proficient in Javascript (Vanilla), SCSS, Liquid, and HTML
• Strong understanding of Shopify’s platform, including custom theme development and Shopify’s templating language, Liquid
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable:

• Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Basic understanding of back-end technologies and integration
• Experience working with APIs and creating web hooks
• Knowledge of third-party integrations
• Skills in performance optimisation using core web vitals
