To help us deliver our medical image analysis solutions to large clinical trials we are hiring an experienced Marketing Communications Manager in a full-time capacity.
Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for IXICO s Annual Marketing Communication Plan and associated annual budget. The purpose of the role is to ensure effective communications of our value proposition and market proposition of delivering validated Ai machine learning imaging biomarker analytics with the quality assurance of our centralised Neuroimaging CRO services; made available through our proprietary TrialTracker imaging data management platform. In doing so, raise the company s external market facing profile with current and prospective biopharma clients, academic collaborators, and partners to ensure sustained long term, profitable growth.
The role works closely with senior scientific, product, operations, and commercial management, to ensure timely execution of the company s client outreach programmes. These include development of webinars, PR collateral, white papers, conference, and lead generation initiatives in line with agreed product marketing communication objectives. Working closely with the product function, there is a requirement to translate complex, cutting-edge scientific information into concise, easy to understand marketing communication that addresses and anticipates the needs of our target audience.
As a Marketing Communications Manager in a small and ambitious organisation, the role holder has access to the company Senior Leadership and will be able to make a significant impact in the way we communicate and tell the IXICO story. The role holder will play an important role in articulating how IXICO is deploying cutting edge AI technology with highly curated, disease specific patient data to develop and commercialise new, validated imaging biomarker analytics in support of our neuroimaging CRO business.
This role is expected to be dedicating significant time to developing and executing the company services marketing communications plan; with significant focus on content generation and communication, event management and reporting on return-on-Investment KPIs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate complex scientific materials into compelling marketing communications. Work with the Science and Product teams to define validation studies and case studies that further evidence and document value proposition of current and future IXICO services.
Develop a communication plan to position the company as a premium, specialist neuroimaging data analytics partner to the global biopharmaceutical industry. In doing so, strengthen the company s position in existing clients so that the company fully leverages its Master Service Agreements, whilst raising awareness of the company s capabilities with prospective new clients.
Work closely with the business development team in generating new business development leads through heightened brand awareness and clearly defined value propositions for our services.
Become the “owner” for the effectiveness of the company s website in meeting the needs of all interested parties and stakeholders. Ensure the website is continuously maintained and developed to ensure IXICO become a byword for the highest quality, scientific and technology capabilities for the delivery of CNS imaging studies.
Develop and execute a communication plan that maximises brand awareness through website content, SEO, use of social media channels and PR.
Develop library of materials (presentations, brochures, images, scientific presentations) that showcase the added value of our services and update in line with latest developments
Develop and maintain annual marketing calendar to assure effective planning of marketing activities for scheduled conference attendance, product launches and other activities.
Manage 3rd party vendors including PR companies, graphic designers, printers and website designers.
Provide timely monthly reporting on progress against agreed KPI s. Track and manage marketing spending to agreed budget levels.
Qualifications and skills required for the role:
Essential
Prior experience of working in a technical/scientific organisation
3+ years external communications experience within the life sciences industry; ideally with experience of working within the clinical trials service industry.
Strong planning skills and demonstrable ability to develop and execute communication plans.
Impactful writing skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation in published
Technical competency with social media communication, web content, multimedia.
Strong planning and interpersonal skills. Ability to use MS Office Suite.
Strong team player, with Excellent English with strong communications skills.
