We are currently looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join the Learning & Development team at our Head Office in Lutterworth.
To work with the Learning & Development Partner and within this role in the creation and production of innovative learning solutions which incorporates a range of learning approaches and technologies to drive knowledge and understanding across the business. Working with key stakeholders, the Learning Experience Designer will scope and define knowledge requirements to truly understand the challenge, goals and needs and provide responsive learning solutions. The focus being the end user, making sure the LMS and its content, is engaging, effective and simple to access, with an eye always on impact and evaluation.
The Learning Experience Designer will work with the LMS Provider to develop and manage the system ensuring the ongoing evolution of the platform; including technical management and maintenance, ensuring developments are appropriate and planned and enhance the learning experience for all employees. Hybrid working with occasional travel across the UK to support the development of new learning interventions
Responsibilities include:
• Working with subject matter experts across the business to produce bitesize video content to build digital Best Practice content, taking complex concepts and creating manageable learning. • Designing and curating content to produce an eLearning programme to upskill individuals and teams on specific knowledge or compliance requirements. • Coordinating the development of a series of expert-led webinars to share specialist knowledge. • Developing a new course completion tracking process, or new course alert process within the LMS.• Designing evaluation tools to ensure objectives are met at an individual, Team and Organisation level • Arranging a working group with a Depot team to understand the challenges newer colleagues have in accessing their learning programmes. • Training internal champions on how they can support their teams with specific business process s so they can share their expertise. • Presenting virtual sessions on how to use a new Toolkit for Managers or running micro learning sessions on a new Payroll system • Assisting with face-to-face delivery of the Management development workshops • Producing reports for the leadership team to demonstrate business impact and colleague engagement with learning initiatives via the learning platform. • Working with the L&D Business Partner, to develop enhanced user experiences and engagement with the LMS • Assisting with face-to-face delivery of the corporate induction and onboarding program
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Experience using a range of authoring tools to build digital learning solutions • Project Management skills. • Blended learning (including social and collaborative initiatives) and multimedia instructional design expertise (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video and podcast production, interactive PDF performance support resources). • Curation of high-quality, credible digital learning resources (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, articles, whitepapers, thought leadership). • Strong relationship management across a diverse range of stakeholders.
