Requirements:
– • Clearly articulate your reasoning and solutions for a given brief to clients and colleagues alike – whether for a campaign, website or product
• Offer practical solutions to complex problems
• Liaise with developers,designers product teams, producers and QA to deliver the best outcome from your ideas
• Create UX artifacts such as wireframes, user journeys, experience maps, prototypes, smaller UI updates, or any relevant output required by the brief
• Be comfortable reading and working with Sketch, Adobe XD and other design and prototyping tools
• Strategically view user experiences from the perspective of businesses and brands, always with one eye on the longevity of products and services
• Guide and mentor UX team members, review and feedback on their output
Responsibilities:
– We re looking for a passionate and strategically-minded and hands-on, practical Lead UX, who ll help us create digital experiences that are equal parts functional, beautiful and inspirational. Someone who ll take ownership of a range of projects and products, from initial briefing through to delivery and iteration
You ll have a flair for making what seems complex, and simple.
From our one-off projects for Sony Music to evolving the products we ve created with Google, you ll be great at taking into account both users’ needs and business objectives to find a creative solution.
You ll be able to provide relevant examples of UX projects you ve developed in the past, discuss the deliverables and highlight your contributions to them.
You ll be confident in leading and inspiring your team and mentoring them to grow their careers.

We are looking for a Lead UX to come and join us here at Phantom. This is a unique opportunity to lead and build the UX team, working with the Strategy Director across all Phantoms clients.

This is an exciting, multifaceted role that requires someone who s self-motivated and comfortable with collaboration to deliver the innovative, human-centric experiences we re known for, to the high standards we hold ourselves to.
Though you ll be expected to work independently to manage your responsibilities and guide the Work you re on, you ll also be in close contact with producers, creatives, strategists and developers.
It s also an opportunity to lead the direction of UX and Product design in a fast growing exciting agency environment
Ultimately, you ll report to the Strategy Director.
An expert in your craft, you ll know how to whip up testing plans, wireframes, experience maps, empathy maps, user flows and user journeys. Familiarity with product methodologies and agile working is a huge plus. We also expect you to be a champion of accessibility,
This is a client-facing role, so preparing presentations, planning and facilitating workshops, and presenting to stakeholders will be second nature.
Your credentials
Proven experience – at least 5 years working as a Senior UX designer, or equivalent, with a portfolio reflecting your abilities.
Human-centric – data informed, but ultimately focused on what people like, need and feel when approaching a service or product.
Hands on – ability to identify and understand user needs and translate them into wireframes, user journeys, user flows, task-focused scenarios and anything that will bring the idea to life.
Analytical mind – be able to weigh the pros and cons, take pragmatic decisions and be time-effective with your tasks.
A thorough understanding of the importance of strategic, evidence-based, user-centred design.
Good communication and presentation skills – you ll need to present your findings, explain your output and articulate your reasoning to the rest of the team and stakeholders.
Collaborative – you ll be working closely with people from other disciplines, inspiring them as much as learning from them.
Curious – happy to take on new challenges and explore what makes people tick. We love proactive individuals who want to push boundaries and can think in their own unique way.

You will lead the UX team, and you will report directly to the Strategy Director.
