We seek a highly motivated Lead Developer to contribute to the success of our leading software vendor client based in Essex.

Your Role:

As a key player in our client’s growth story, you will play a pivotal role in elevating and enriching our web-centric product offerings. We are on the lookout for a passionate Web Developer who can be a driving force in realising our ambitious digital roadmap.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience and Qualifications:

We’re interested in seasoned Web Developers with at least five years of work experience. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in debugging and profiling applications related to web development is a definite plus.

Technical Skills:

The successful candidate will possess a robust set of skills in C#, Asp.net/Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC, and JSON. Your expertise should extend to working independently and collaboratively, crafting websites from the ground up. Exposure to UI binding frameworks such as Vue.js, AngularJS, React, and Knockout considered advantageous.

Familiarity with IIS, a full understanding of the MVC pattern, REST APIs, and asp.net controllers is a must. Security-conscious developers who are well-versed in addressing vulnerabilities, including those identified in OWASP, are highly sought after.

Your Contributions:

As a Web Developer, your duties will span a variety of crucial responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Crafting efficient code using best practices for software development
  • Developing websites using languages such as HTML and CSS
  • Collaborating with Programmers and Web Designers to align websites with visual design intent
  • Engaging with business colleagues to gather and refine requirements for content development within agreed timelines
  • Researching diverse software programs
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for utilized software
  • Continuously improving and enhancing websites post-creation
