Our client, a market-leading retailer, is seeking to recruit a Web Developer. This varied and fulfilling role will primarily involve developing with Magento, however extensive experience is not required with this platform as you will work alongside the Senior Web Developer to further build your knowledge and skills on the job

Web Developer Responsibilities:

• Involvement in all areas of software development.
• Day-to-Day maintenance of the eCommerce website.
• Working alongside the Senior Web Developer and the rest of the developers on the team.
• Implementation of Customer facing Platforms primarily built using WordPress/Laravel/Lumen with increasing exploration of NextJS and the JAMstack.

Web Developer Requirements:

• Good knowledge of PHP and OOP.
• Technical experience working with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, XML, and Composer.
• Knowledge and experience of HTTP including implementing APIs and design best practices.
• Communicate effectively with developers, digital designers and colleagues alike.
