Position: Junior Artworker x2

Location: Basildon, Essex

Role: Full Time Contract

Duration: 12 Months (minimum)

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum

Our client is one the UK’s leading Importer and Wholesale Distributor of a wide range of everyday value products. They are looking to appoint 2x Junior Artworkers on a 12-monthcontract with the possibility of an extension.

You will work Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm with a 45-minute lunch break. The Head Office is based in Basildon and there is plenty of onsite parking for staff.

You must be able to provide a portfolio of your work. Your Responsibilities

• To help develop and maintain a corporate artwork style in line with company identity guidelines, ensuring the brands remain fresh and relevant

• To work with the artwork department on artwork projects with planning and coordination

• Assist on live list product & packaging artworks

• Assist with Artwork for website and marketing

• Cross – checking artworks with other team members

• Assist in providing mock – up artwork for showrooms & shows

• Take a pro – active approach to researching the latest design techniques and methodology sharing creative ideas and solution with other designers and the wider organisation

Key Elements

• Product artworking

• Utilising existing style guides in different formats

• Creating and adjusting cutter-guides / templates

• Elements of packaging & product design

• Liaising with purchasing team, buyers and other designers on requirements and workflow priorities.

Skills & Experience

• Intermediate Adobe Creative Cloud in a Mac environment. (Primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)

• Speed and a good work ethic are essential for the position with a willingness to learn and improve your skills.

• Good communication skills are alsorequired as well as organisational capabilities.
