A leading company in the maritime sector is seeking a talented JavaScript/TypeScript Software Engineer to join their innovative team. As a JavaScript/TypeScript Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge software solutions that enhance maritime operations and safety. As a JavaScript/TypeScript Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support various maritime functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of the maritime industry. Your expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript will be crucial in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the software products.

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties as the JavaScript/TypeScript Software Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
2. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
4. Troubleshoot and debug software issues to optimise performance.
5. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
6. Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Candidate Profile:
1. Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in software development, particularly with JavaScript and TypeScript.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
