Job Title: Data Power Software Designer/Developer – Mobile

Purpose of the role:

The key purpose of this role would be to contribute towards the Design and Build Work stream of Mobile Platform

To be a member of the design and development team working on development projects in the Mobile Platform
Responsible for analysing, designing and building services on IBM Data power
Work closely with technical leads, test leads and architects to deliver fully tested applications. The role also involves liaison with Business Users, Business Analyst and Developers who will be responsible for definition and documentation of detailed Functional and Non-Functional requirements

This role is based in Digital Distribution Domain in India division reporting to the Development Manager. We are aiming to develop and deliver an innovative and intuitive Personal and Business Banking Mobile application for our customers to enable them better manage their needs in a simple and easy manner via their mobile devices.

To qualify for this role, you need to have very good expertise, and experience in DataPower, XSLT, server/Middleware technologies.

Skillset required:

Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in application development involving IBM Datapower
Hand’s on XSLT, Front Side Handling, Security configurations at DP
Experience of working on XG45 and XI52 boxes.
Experience in developing web APIs for Mobile application.
Experience of analysis and verification of User Requirement Documentation, Functional Specification and Technical Design Specification
Proven experience of working as interface between build and test teams and engaging in problem investigation and resolution
Estimation Skill to help Scrum team in story pointing for development of feature by understanding the technical specification and providing development efforts
Adapt in Agile ways of working and delivering in Sprints
Good communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal)

Responsibilities:

As Data Power Developer, you will be required to:
Analyze business requirements and convert them into Technical and/or Functional requirements
Design, develop, debug and implement software components using DataPower
Create Service level design documents to be used by different teams to build software components
Review design and code to verify that they adhere to Technology Services operational principles
Review Unit and System test plans and results to ensure that code has been tested completely and successfully.
Resolve technical problems of varying degree of complexity
Assimilate and apply knowledge as well as spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members
Assisting Technical Lead designer with technical details/decisions
Produce accurate estimates for development of software by understanding the technical specification and providing development efforts
Analyze various quality dimensions including performance, reliability and resilience, and design and implement improvements to meet them
Ensure code is maintainable and coded with attention to robustness, performance, stability, scalability and testability
Able to progress work with minimal supervision yet work as part of a broader team
