Job Title: Graphics Programmer

My client, a pioneering game development company, is seeking a skilled Graphics Programmer to join their innovative team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the creation of visually stunning and immersive gaming experiences.

Graphics Programmer: Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain graphics-related systems and shaders for real-time rendering engines.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other programmers to implement and refine visual effects, lighting, and rendering techniques.
  • Write and optimize code to achieve high-performance graphics across multiple platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve graphics-related issues to ensure smooth and visually appealing gameplay.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in graphics programming to continually push the visual quality of projects.

Graphics Programmer: Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Proven experience as a Graphics Programmer in the gaming industry.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with graphics APIs such as DirectX, OpenGL, or Vulkan.
  • Solid understanding of real-time rendering techniques, shader programming, and GPU architecture.
  • Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
