A small, hard-working but very friendly and successful publishing company with a range of publications reporting on the sports industry. Looking for an enthusiastic individual who has experience in a publishing environment and is interested in a long-term career in design. Due to publication deadlines Saturday working is essential.

• Working from home for the weekdays but would need to be in the Wimbledon office for production each Saturday

What will you do

• Working on weekly newspapers and monthly magazines
• Create projects from brief to conception, developing concepts, providing quality creative and design for print and websites
• Deliver high-quality creative, both print and digital, ensuring all artwork created is of the highest standard and complies with brand guidelines
• Liaise constantly with the editorial and design team to ensure deadlines are met
• Produce design creative for a range of digital and print products
• Review and proof work to ensure high standards are met, maintain brand consistency throughout all projects

What do you need

• Degree in graphic design or related field is preferable
• Graphic design background and experience in Sports Publishing would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of colour theory, typography, print and digital
• Must have experience of working with newspapers
• Adobe Suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Acrobat, Microsoft Suite
• Interest in Sport would also be a bonus
