Assistant Graphic Designer Location: Fleckney, Leicester LE8 8UDTemporary (3-6 months depending on project length)- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM- Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PMOur client is a leading business in the plastics industry specializing in manufacturing, distribution, and service solutions. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on key projects within a fast-paced, innovative environment.As the Assistant Graphic Designer, you will support the design team in creating visually appealing and effective designs for a range of projects. Your primary focus will be on DTP (Desktop Publishing) tasks, catalogues, and other marketing collateral. This position is ideal for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience who can bring creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to the role.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the design and layout of print and digital materials, including catalogues, brochures, flyers, and promotional content.- Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.- Prepare files for print and digital distribution, ensuring high-quality output.- Support the creation of visual content for marketing campaigns.- Assist with photo editing, retouching, and creating image assets using Adobe Photoshop.- Work efficiently within project timelines and meet deadlines as required.Key Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of experience in a graphic design role.- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.- Strong portfolio showcasing design work, with an emphasis on DTP projects, catalogues, and marketing collateral.- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography and layout.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Strong organizational and time-management skills.Please submit your CV along with a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience in DTP, catalogues, and other graphic design projects.
